: This is a straight forward design. The boxes work. I am not sure that text should over run an image – it get a bit cluttered. Mostly I was concerned with you getting your web up and running and after all the hard work you have learnt a great deal. I also like the fact that you have been into the list style and changed the dots for images and they are pngs. The text should have padding so that it does not hit up against the edge of a column or page. Now take a look at some good websites and see how they look – make so design decisions by copying what is done on these good pages. text on top of an image is confusing - a simple box with the text heading underneath, would be much more effective TECHNICAL: CODE: You managed to do everything within the constraints of the assignment. You have the pages working, the pictures are in their correct places and the information is descriptive. This had been a mammoth effort and you have learnt a lot. You came in not knowing how to use MAC and have really put in the work to learn how to build pages – congratulations. !. Give the pages a title – top of code 2. the pages move up and down as we gone from one to the other 3. The links do not need underlines 4. Basically you spent most of your time getting this up and running and so the fine tuning has to be done in the future, but you have learnt a great deal 5. There are a few coding things that I marked on your html. 6. You got rid of all those awful extra spaces and p tags BLOG/RESEARCH/WIREFRAME: You have not been up dating your work. That means all the exercises we have done in class – boxes x 2, box and text – the text is running over the page – see if you can now change that by yourself now. Then there in the menu List exercise. haiku screen shots and comments about what you did. For the color page I want to see your site architecture, wire frame and roughs for your web pages, examples of good design that could have influenced your pages and comments about what you were doing and why?
